DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police have recovered a nine-year-old girl, who was abducted 20 days ago, and arrested three of her alleged kidnappers, officials said here Saturday.

A Dera police spokesman said that nine-year-old Naghma Bibi was abducted from the limits of Gomal University police station on February 9.

He said that a police team led by DSP Paroa circle Malik Abid Iqbal and Gomal University police station SHO Sanaullah Niazi traced and recovered the abducted girl from Muzaffargarh district of Punjab by using scientific techniques.

The police team also arrested three accused, including Tariq, Fayyaz and Bashir, who were residents of Jatoi area of Muzaffargarh.

Further investigation into the case was underway, the police spokesman said.
