KARACHI: A stray bullet hit a two-year-old child at a famous eatery in Clifton, police said on Monday.

They said that the incident took place at around 9pm on Sunday when the child’s family was having dinner at BBQ Tonight within the remit of the Boat Basin police station.

SSP-South Syed Asad Raza said that Ali Asad suffered a bullet wound in the head and was first shifted to the South City Hospital from where he was moved to the Aga Khan University Hospital.

He said that the condition of the victim child was said to be critical. He said an investigation had been launched into the incident.
