SUKKUR: A young man accidentally shot himself and died while making a TikTok video in Sukkur on Monday, police and family said.

They said that the incident took place in the Bachal Shah area within the jurisdiction of the Airport police station.

Victim’s father Abdul Jabbar said that his 22-year-old son, Abdul Ghaffar alias Babar, brought a pistol from a relative to make a TikTok video.

He said that they were sitting in an adjacent room when they heard a shot. They ran to the room and found the youth lying in a pool of blood.

The area police reached the scene and shifted the body to the Taluqa Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
