NdcTech gets recognised by Temenos

NdcTech, a global IT Company providing transformational services to the banking sector and winner of the Temenos Best Sales Partner Award in MEA, attended Temenos Kick-Off (TKO) 2023, which took place at Palau Congress Centre at Palma de Mallorca, Spain from 17th to 20th January 2023, according to a press release.

TKO is an annual event of Temenos, the world’s number one banking software company, and brings together key management of Temenos and global partners in person to strategise for the new year, explore new product innovations for customers and identify future opportunities for collaboration.

NdcTech was a key sponsor at TKO 2023 and was recognised as the “Best Performing Partner in the SaaS World” during the event due to its recent role in cloud banking transformations. This recognition is a testament to NdcTech’s accomplishments and contributions towards the banking sector and recognises its strong footprint in the SaaS world.

Denning Law School wins competition

Denning Law School (DLS), a recognised teaching centre of the University of London, has been awarded as the National Champions for the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition Pakistan National Rounds 2023, according to a press release. This is the third consecutive year that students of DLS have been championed as national winners.

The team comprising five law students, Rabbiya Farrukh, Ahsen Amir Siddiqui, Omar Asif, Suleiman Ahmed Sheikh and Zakariya Mustafa, will now be representing Pakistan at the International Rounds of this prestigious competition in Washington DC.

Jessup is the world’s largest moot court competition, with participants from roughly 700 law schools in 100 countries and jurisdictions. The competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. Teams prepare oral and written pleadings arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case.

Winter sports festivals

High Commission of Canada, Pakistan, in collaboration with The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), recently organised winter festivals with the support of The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, according to a press release. The festivals, which lasted for 17 days at four locations in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, brought together 40 ice hockey teams and provided opportunities to 75 rural women entrepreneurs to display their products at Women Business Expos held on the sidelines of Winter Sports Festivals.

The signature Winter Sports Initiative by the High Commission of Canada leverages ice hockey and other winter sports as a powerful, recreational positive tool for change in line with Canada’s commitment to gender equality and climate change.

Domino’s and Quetta Gladiators

Domino Pakistan has announced its partnership with Quetta Gladiators for PSL Season 8, according to a press release.The renowned pizza brand will now serve as the official food partner for the Gladiators throughout the season, according to a press release.

The partnership was made official during a memorandum signing ceremony that featured top people from both parties, including CEO Domino’s Pakistan Faisal Munshi, COO Saad Khan and CMO Raafay Haider, along with Owner Quetta Gladiators Nadeem Omar. He was accompanied by Director Quetta Gladiators Hasan Omar and the skipper of the side Sarfaraz Ahmed.

“We are excited about this partnership and to become a part of Quetta Gladiator’s legacy”, said Faisal Munshi during the event. “We believe Domino’s Pakistan, together with Quetta Gladiators, will offer unprecedented excitement for the cricketing fans of Pakistan,” he added.

AdPulse organises award ceremony

AdPulse organised the Grand GFS — Annual Awards Ceremony 2022-23 to appreciate the significant and outstanding contribution of the employees towards tremendous growth and betterment of the organisation, according to a press release.

Various consulate generals and foreign delegations attended the grand and colourful event. Renowned singer and composer Sahir Ali Bagga enthralled the audience with his melodious numbers. Raqs e Rumi was also performed and highly appreciated by the audience.
