We have been using face masks ever since the Covid-19 epidemic hit the world. To some, it became a habit to wear masks wherever and whenever they went out, while others used them on and off.

So if you or any of your family member still uses masks, just don’t throw them out when they wear out, instead let’s make something cute and use it today — a bracelet. Let’s start!

Things you need:

  1. Used or new masks, at least four to make one bracelet.
  2. Colour markers
  3. Scissors

Directions:

The craft is simple and cute, but in the process of making the bracelet your hands will get messy.

  1. Take the strings out from the masks, (don’t throw the masks, as they will be used sometime later in making another craft) picture 2.

  2. I used clipboard to make it easy to colour the strings; so clip the string and slowly colour it with a marker; colour three strings, with whichever colour you choose, pictures 3, 4 and 5.

  3. To make a simple braided-bracelet, you need at least four strings, three to make a braid, and the fourth one to tie one end to the other.

  4. Clip any three-coloured strings on the board, and make a braid, pictures 6 and 7.

  5. Tie the fourth, which is the remaining string, to the both sides of the braid, according to the wrist size, picture 8 and 9.

  6. Cut the remaining part of the string.

  7. The strings have elasticity, so it is easy to wear them, even if they are a bit tight, pictures 10 and 11.
