KARACHI, Jan 6: The capital city police have formed a strategy to effectively check the cases of kidnapping for ransom and for arresting persons involved in this crime.

The strategy was finalised during a meeting chaired by the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Karachi, Niaz Ahmed Siddiqui, held at the Central Police Office on Friday.

The DIG Operations Hyderabad, Mazhar Sheikh, DIG Operations Karachi Mushtaq Shah, DIG Investigation-II Mir Zubair Mehmood, DIG Investigation-I Manzoor Mughal, SPAVCC Farooq Awan and other police officials besides the Chief of the CPLC, Sharfuddin Memon, attended the meeting.
