New Year, new you! Right? The new calendar year is the beginning of a new chapter and a perfect time to set resolutions to help you cultivate good habits and achieve big goals.

But come February, we start forgetting about those goals and carry on with the routine life that we had before the start of the New Year. However, I bet, with this New Year resolution jar, you can easily track your goals year-round, as it will be a great reminder to motivate yourself to accomplish your resolutions.

So, let’s store resolutions in a cute jar and place it somewhere you can regularly check on.

Note: The resolutions will be written on small paper notes in five categories, in five colours, such as for the whole year, half yearly, quarterly, monthly and bi-monthly. So decide colours and make notes accordingly for each category.

For long-term resolutions, (for the whole year), it’s up to you how many you make. Make two for half-yearly. For monthly resolutions, make 12 notes, take one out on the first day of each month, follow it for the whole month. For bimonthly resolutions, make 24, you will take the note out on every 15th of each month and follow the routine for the next 15 days. In quarterly, make four notes, take the note out after every three months. This way, you will break down your goals and resolutions, and it will be easy for you to focus.

For instance, your goals and resolutions can be helping someone in need or reading a book bimonthly, revising the chapters studied or giving some money in charity every month, getting rid of a certain bad habit or cleaning the clutter quarterly, etc.
