CHARSADDA: Unknown assailants gunned down a medical technician of sub-jail Charsadda in the limits of city police station here on Friday.

According to police and residents, Abdul Wahab, a medical technician of sub-jail Charsadda, was returning home in his native town Khanmai after performing duty in Zahidabad. When he was near Spin Jumat on Takht Bhai Road in jurisdiction of city police station, unknown assailants opened firing on him. He was killed on the spot. The assailants managed to escape after the attack.

Mohammad Ismail, son of the deceased technician, has registered an FIR in the city police station against unknown attackers.
