HYDERABAD, Jan 30: The chairman, University Grants Commission (UGC), Dr. A.Q. Mughal on Wednesday visited the Federal College of Arts and Design and inspected the progress of work along with other members of the team, which had been appointed by the government to oversee its construction and development work.

During his briefing to the chairman, UGC, the project director of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Ghulam Sarwar Kundhar said that from 1996 to 1999 the college was working under the supervision of the Sindh University but in the year 2000 it had been transferred to Mehran University.

He gave full details about the development work carried out in the federal college.

BISE: The last date for enrolment and examination forms has been extended upto Feb 11 with a late fee of Rs300. The last date for permission for the improvement of grade with a late fee of Rs100 has been fixed as Feb 11.
