LAHORE: Garrison Club were leading the points table by the end of the penultimate day of the All- Pakistan Inter Club championship at the Rumanza Golf and Country Club in Multan on Saturday.
Garrison Club aggregated 1043, 11 points ahead of Karachi Golf Club at second. Lahore Gymkhana are third with an aggregate score of 1060 ahead of the final day of the tournament.
Garrison’s solid position was down to an outstanding performance by Damil Ataullah and Ahmed Sultan Kayani in the amateurs category. Damil played a round of gross 69, three under par while Ahmed recorded 70, two under par in the second round. Seniors Matloob Ahmed, with gross 72, and Mohammad Alam, with gross 73 also proved key for Garrison’s dominance.
For Karachi Golf Club, amateurs Saim Shazli, Yashal Shah and Arsalan Shikoh Khan were the top performers while Lahore Gymkhana were boosted to Salman Jehangir, Qasim Ali Khan and Hussain Hamid.
