KARACHI, Jan 30: Sindh minister for industries Dewan Yousuf Farooqui said Pakistan has plenty of trained human resources and it is up to industrial and educational institutions to utilize this vast talent in the direction of prosperity.

He was speaking at a ceremony held in connection with receiving computer-aided design and manufacturing software (unigraphics and solid edge), donated by a US-based software company to the NED University here on Wednesday.

“Our people are our force and we are determined to make the most of it. Pakistani engineers have always played a pivotal role in the engineering sector of the world”, he stated.

He said the government was giving priority to the advancement of Information Technology and its usage and it had always encouraged all national and multinational organizations to play a role in bringing technology closer to the people.

He lauded the role of NED University in providing best training and professional facilities to local engineers.—PPI/APP
