SUKKUR: A 60-year-old woman died when a bullet accidentally hit her after she came between her two sons one of whom opened fire at the other during a heated argument over ownership of property in Shahal Khan Jakhrani village within the jurisdiction of Abad police station near Jacobabad on Wednesday.

Police said that Mohammad Ali Jakhrani and Liaquat Ali Jakhrani were engaged in a brawl over the property ownership and took out arms when their mother Ms Samina Jakhrani tried to intervene but at the same time the quarrelling son shot fires, one of which hit her and she died on the spot. The brothers escaped after their mother died, said police officials.
