LAHORE: The Indian baseball team has confirmed its participation in the 15th West Asia Baseball Cup to be held in Islamabad from Dec 20 to 24, Pakistan Federation Baseball president Fakhar Ali Shah said on Thursday.
Fakhar said that the Baseball Federation of Asia had allotted the event to Pakistan and after invitations were sent to all member countries, India joined Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Palestine in confirming their participation.
“However, replies from Nepal and Iran are still awaited,” he informed.
The tournament, Fakhar added, would be held in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Board.
