QUETTA: Two tribesmen were killed in an armed clash between two rival groups in Bolan district on Wednesday.

Levies officials said the incident took place in Haft Wali area of the district when armed men attacked the people of their rival group. During the exchange of fire two tribesmen, identified as Zafar Ali and Ali Mohammad, were killed. The officials said the cause of the clash was an old enmity.

Meanwhile, a robber was killed and another injured while trying to loot the passengers of a coach on Quetta-Karachi highway in the Wash area of Khuzdar district. According to sources, the robbers travelling in the coach tried to loot the passengers, but were overpowered by some of them.

During the scuffle, one of the robbers opened fire and the bullet hit one of his accomplices, killing him on the spot, and injuring another.
