MUZAFFARGARH: Police on Monday registered a case and arrested a man for allegedly stealing oil by installing a clump in Parco pipeline in Rangpur area, some 55 kilometers away from the city.

A police team, led by DSP City Circle Farhat Rasool and Rangpur Station House Officer Shehbaz Zafar found clump in the main pipeline of Parco and arrested the operative. The vehicle used in oil delivery, four drums used in oil theft, high pressure pipe, clump and other equipment were also recovered. The gang had been stealing oil from pipelines for the last many years.
