LAHORE: Amir Khan Mazari, Bilal Asim, Haider Ali Rizwan and others registered victories in the boys’ U-16 pre-quarter-finals of the ATF U-16 Asian Tennis Tour 2022 (first leg) at the SBP Tennis Academy on Tuesday.

Amir defeated Waleed Humayun 6-2, 6-3 while Bilal beat Nabeel Qayum 6-0, 6-0. Haider outclassed Asad Zaman 6-3, 6-1 and Hussnain Ali Rizwan downed Aized Khalil 6-0, 6-1. Ahtesham Humayun beat Inam Qadir 6-4, 6-0, while Sheheryar Anees proved too good against Sameer Zaman, winning the match 6-1, 6-2.

Other results: Salaar Khan bt M Sohaan Noor 6-2, 6-4; Ibrahim Ashraf bt Faizan Ali 6-2, 7-5; Abdullah Pirzada bt Hamza Rehmat 6-2, 6-3.

Boys’ U-16 doubles: Asad Zaman/Sheheryar Anees bt Kashan Tariq/Taimoor Ansari 6-2, 7-5; Inam Qadir/Mohammad Salaar Khan bt Waleed Humayun/Abdullah Pirzada 6-4, 6-2.

Boys’/girls’ U-14 pre-quarter-finals: Nabeel Qayum bt Mohammad Shafin Khan 6-1; Taimoor Ansari bt M. Umar Ali 6-1.

Boys’girls U-12 pre-quarter-finals: Abdur Rehman bt Hafiz Hussain 6-1; Musa Aneek bt Aahil Nadeem 6-0; Aalay Husnain bt Aayan Shahbaz 6-1; Bismel Zia bt M Ayan Khan 6-0; M Umar Ali bt Inam Ali 7-5; M Ibrahim Hussain Gill bt Shafay Iqbal 6-1.
