Published December 25, 2005

ISLAMABAD, Dec 24: The 129th birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah will be celebrated on Sunday with enthusiasm and national spirit.

As has been the tradition, the national flag will fly at all government buildings throughout the country.

The day will begin with special prayers for the soul of the father of the nation all over the country.

The change of guards ceremony will also take place at the Quaid’s mausoleum on Sunday morning. Political, social and literary organisations have arranged programmes to celebrate the day in a befitting manner.

The Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television have prepared special programmes on the life, ideas and achievements of the Quaid to be put on air on the day.

An exhibition titled ‘Rare Glimpses of the Quaid’ highlighting the multi-faced personality of the founder of the nation through his photographs has also been arranged.—APP
