ISLAMABAD, Dec. 23: King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia will visit Pakistan in the last week of January as part of a four-nation tour which will also take him to India, China and Malaysia.

This was announced by Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan Mr Ali S Awadh Asseri at a press conference here on Friday.

Commenting on media reports about the upcoming visit of Saudi King to India, the diplomat said Saudi Arabia’s relationship with Pakistan was so unique, durable and profound that it could not be compared with any other country.

“His visit to New Delhi would only contribute to the ongoing Pak-India dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute”, he added. He said the Makkah Declaration and the 10-year OIC Action Plan would be a blueprint for confronting the challenges the Muslims face.
