TAXILA: The Pindigheb police on Friday arrested a man for allegedly molesting a teenage boy, filming him naked and then blackmailing him.

The victim’s father, a resident of village Thoa, reported to the police that the suspect took his 16-year-old son to his house and molested him after taking him hostage. He also allegedly filmed the boy and then started blackmailing him.

When the victim narrated the ordeal to his father, he took him to the police station after which the suspect was arrested.

Moreover, Hassanabdal police arrested a construction worker for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old boy in an under-construction house. The victim’s father said his son had gone to his under-construction house where the worker assaulted him.

Meanwhile, Fatehjang police arrested a man for beating a woman and opening fire on her. The victim reported to the police that cattle of Ali Zaib entered her fields and when she took them out Zaib along with his unknown accompanies thrashed and opened fire.
