Three killed by rivals

SARGODHA: Three men were shot dead on Tuesday afternoon allegedly by their rivals in Satellite Town.

As per police reports, Imran, Jehangir and Nasar were on their way home after appearing in the court. Near Satellite Town, three suspects, one of them identified as Jasarat Khan, riding a bike stopped their car and opened fire, killing them on the spot. The assailants managed their escape.

The bodies were shifted to local teaching hospital for autopsy and police collected evidence from the spot. The incident is said to be a result of an old enmity and DPO Tariq Aziz has set up teams for the arrest of the suspects.

Meanwhile, IGP Faisal Shahkar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the RPO.
