ABBOTTABAD: The local squash associations and players of Jansher Khan Squash Complex here have unanimously demanded removal of its director.

The demand was made by players and office-bearers of the Abbottabad, Mansehra and Haripur squash associations in a joint meeting for his inappropriate behaviourwith the senior players and office-bearers of the squash association, including international coach and his family.

They also urged Pakistan Squash Federation to conduct complete audit of accounts of the complex.

According to a statement issued here on Sunday, the meeting presided over by Abbottabad Squash Association president Tariq Mehmood was attended by all office-bearers of the Abbottabad, Mansehra and Haripur squash associations, players of the Jansher Khan Squash Complex, city sports complex and representatives of educational associations.

The meeting discussed the matters related to the squash complex.

Mr Mehmood and other participants alleged that unfriendly atmosphere had been developed in the squash complex due to the negative attitude of its director.

They claimed that the director used to disgrace senior players and office-bearers of the squash association during tournaments.

Mr Mehmood said that the director was also condemned in past by the provincial squash officials for his bad attitude with the president and cabinet members of the KP Squash Association.
