DERA GHAZI KHAN: For the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the houses of flood victims of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur, coordination with the international organizations has been completed, Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha told Dawn.

The World Health Organization and the World Food Programme would provide food and health facilities for community-based data. He said the organisations engaged in the rehabilitation of flood-affected people would also share their data with the district administrations of both districts.

Commissioner Chatha further maintained that after final estimation, the reconstruction of damaged houses would soon commence. He said that healthcare, provision of water, food and reconstruction of flood-affected houses were the main priorities of the rehabilitation phase.

FOILED: The Food Department has foiled an attempt to smuggle wheat and flour to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
