HYDERABAD, Dec 15: Sindh Agriculture University vice-chancellor Prof (Dr) Bashir Ahmad Shaikh has said development of a country depends on higher education, training and modern technology.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the third staff development training course jointly organized by the university’s resource centre and the Higher Education Commission on Thursday.

He said training courses being organized by the university with the help of the HEC were aimed at making teachers proficient and efficient. Teachers of the Shah Abdul Latif University, Girls College, Latifabad, Government Zubeda Girls College, Hyderabad, Boys and Girls College, Qasimabad, Noor Shah College, Tandojam, and the Sindh Agriculture Univ-ersity are attending the course.
