HARIPUR: A man was killed while three others including a young boy were injured when a mass of earth fell on them near Shah Maqsood village, police said here the other day.

Sera-i-Saleh police quoted eyewitnesses as saying that four Afghan nationals were busy in loading a tractor-trolley with excavated soil when a heavy mass of earth and sand fell on them, burying all of them along with the tractor-trolley.

The local rescue workers rushed to the scene and after hectic efforts for around 30 minutes succeeded in retrieving them and the vehicle. They shifted the injured to the trauma centre.
