KARACHI: A young man was shot dead in Sohrab Goth on Friday, police said.

They said that the man, aged around 25 years, was killed at D-7 bus stop.

F.B. Industrial Area SHO Mohammed Sarfraz Chaudhry said they found him in an injured condition and he was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

His identity could not be ascertained till late in the night.

The police recovered one TT pistol with two rounds, two mobile phones and Rs3,000 from his custody. The SHO believed that the deceased was a criminal.
