LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has termed it a good omen for Pakistan that Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa received the highest award of Saudi Arabia “King Abdul Aziz” from crown prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

Mr Elahi said the army chief’s personal efforts, hard work and command over foreign policy led Pakistan succeed in getting out of the FATF’s grey list. “It is a matter of pride for the entire Pakistani nation that the army chief received the highest Saudi Arabia award,” he said.
