KARACHI: Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh has said that the project of laying railway link for transporting Thar coal to other power plants of the country will start soon.
In a press statement issued here on Sunday, he said that that necessary consultation had been held in this regard during his meeting with the chairman of Pakistan Railway Board and senior railway officers of Railways in Islamabad on Saturday.
The energy minister said that 105 km long railway line from Thar Coal Field to Chhor would be laid under the project.
