LAHORE: The Pakistan Rugby Union announced a 26-man national team squad for the upcoming Asian Rugby Div II championship on Tuesday.

The tournament will be held here from May 29 and will feature only two ranking matches between Pakistan and Thailand the opening day and June 1 with China and Taiwan having withdrawn due to Covid-19 related issues.

The winner will qualify to Div-I. Gert Mulder of South Africa has been hired as coach of the Pakistan team.
