TOBA TEK SINGH: Three lawyers were injured in firing by rivals on Monday outside district courts gate No 4 on Circular Road, Faisalabad.

Police said two sisters had a litigation over rent of shops located opposite district courts. One of the wounded lawyers Malik Ahsan Nayyer [son of a sister] was on his way outside gate No 4 after the court decided in his mother’s favour when other sister’s son Malik Muhammad Kashif opened fire as a result he received four bullets and was critically injured.

Two other lawyers who were also passing along with him received two bullets each. They were identified as Waheed Anwar Ramay and Ajmal Mukhtar. Injured lawyer Malik Ahsan Nayyer was being treated at Allied hospital while both others were admitted to DHQ hospital.

Police are yet to register a case.
