LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced trials for the selection of junior hockey players across the country to bring forward talent from the grassroots.

The trials will be held at the Lala Musa Hockey Stadium in Quetta on May 22 with Karachi’s Abdul Sattar Edhi Stadium hosting trials a day later. National selectors Kaleemullah Khan and Ayaz Mahmood will conduct these trials.

Chief selector Manzoor Hussain Junior, meanwhile, will conduct the trials at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore on May 24 and 25.

Trials for the players from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir will also be held at the National Hockey Stadium on May 26 by all members of the selection committee.

Players born on or after Jan 1, 2022 are allowed to attend the trials.
