OKARA: A labourer was allegedly tortured to death over some dispute here on Tuesday at village 45/GD.

As per the first information report, suspect Ilyas along with his sons Haroon, Ali Shan, Farooq and a local, Shoaib, barged in the house of Noor Ahmad and severely beat Noor Ahmed, killing him on the spot and injuring his wife Sakina.

Gogera police have registered a case under sections 302, 324, 148 and 149 of Pakistan Penal Code on the report of Sakina.

RECOVERED: Saddar police claimed on Tuesday to have recovered five stolen motorcycles from three suspects.

According to FIR, Maqsood, Asif and Irfan were nabbed in a theft case.

Saddar Station House Officer Rana Imran Tipu said police recovered five stolen bikes on their indication.
