KARACHI, Jan 27: Sartaj Bano, the widow of Prof Karrar Hussain, died here on Sunday. She was 86.

She is survived by four sons and four daughters.

Her funeral procession will be taken out from Imambargah Madinat-ul-Ilm, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, at 10am on Monday. She will be buried in the Sakhi Hassan graveyard.

Benazir Bhutto, the chairperson, and other leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party have condoled the death with former senator and son of Begum Karrar Hussain, Taj Haider, who is also the PPP’s information secretary.
