Pakistan reports 96 Covid cases

Pakistan has reported 96 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, down from 238 a day earlier, taking the total to 1,526,568. No additional deaths have been recorded.

The total number of cases has risen to 1,526,568 and the death toll remains 30,361. The country's positivity rate stands at 0.37 per cent.

The breakdown of cases is as follows:

  • Punjab: 40 cases
  • Sindh: 29 cases
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 19 cases
  • Islamabad: 7 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 1 case
