DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Laadi gang has demanded ransom ‘in cash and kind’ from the administration of DG cement factory for the release of three employees.

The gang has demanded ransom amount, establishment of a school and a reservoir for drinking water in the area and jobs for some of its members in the cement unit.

A couple of days earlier, the Laadi gangsters had kidnapped three employees of DG cement from zero point of the factory located in the area dominated by Khosa tribe. Talking to Dawn, Dera Ghazi Khan Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha confirmed that the gangsters had put their demands before the administration of DG cement.

He said the demands for establishment of school, reservoir for water and jobs might be accepted by the company for safe recovery of the staff. He said a large-scale operation would have to be launched against the

armed gangsters. The commissioner said local tribal facilitators of the gang would be apprehended before the launch of operation.
