KARACHI, Dec 1: The Inspector General of Registration, Sindh, with the approval of the competent authority has brought about changes in the territorial divisions of sub-registry offices in Karachi. These offices will be coextensive with towns/Union Councils within the limits of the city government Karachi instead of the present system based on police station/thana areas, and also that these offices will be renamed as town registry offices.

The new system based on Territorial Jurisdiction (Part-II) will come into effect from Jan 1, 2006.—PPI
