TAXILA: Two persons were killed and one was injured in two different incidents in various parts of Attock on Sunday.

In the first incident, a 20-year-old man was shot dead near his house in village Ghourghushti in the limits of Hazro police station.

Police while quoting family members and eyewitnesses said that Hamid Ali was returning to his house when a masked man hiding there opened fire on him, killing him on the spot.

In the second incident, a man was killed and his friend was injured when their motorcycle collided head on with a tractor trolley coming from opposite direction on Haji Shah road near China chowk in the limits of Attock Police station.

Respective Police have registered separate cases and started further investigation.
