HYDERABAD: Obituary

HYDERABAD, Nov 26: Seth Jane Alam of the Fateh Group of Industries died here on Saturday due to cardiac arrest. He was 74. The deceased leaves behind a widow and three sons to mourn his death.

The funeral rites and Namaz-i-Janaza were attended by hundreds of people including industrialists and members of the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He was laid to rest at his family graveyard in Kali Mori.

The Soyem will be held at Masjid-i-Khizra in Latifabad-3 on Sunday after the Zohar prayers.

ADMISSION TEST: The director of the Centre for Health and Physical Education at the Sindh University notified students on Friday that their physical fitness test for admissions to a four-year BS programme in health and physical education will be conducted from Dec 1 to Dec 3 from 9am to 12 noon.

The candidates have been asked to appear for the test at the health and physical education centre.
