CHAGAI: A man and his daughter were killed while another daughter suffered injuries when unidentified armed men barged into their house and opened indiscriminate fire on the family late Saturday night.

According to an official report submitted to the Dalbandin’s assistant commissioner by the in-charge of the Levies Station in Chagai on Monday, the incident took place in Afghan refugees camp Girdi Jangal where Laal Mohammad and his six-year old daughter Rukhsana were killed while 14-year old Fareeda got bullet injuries.

A Levies Force official told Dawn that the deceased belonged to an Afghan refugee family. The bodies were taken to Afghanistan by the family. The injured girl was admitted to Civil Hospital, Quetta, for treatment. He said Levies Force was investigating the case.
