RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and intelligence foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics to the United Kingdom through a private courier service.

According to the ANF spokesperson, information was received that an attempt to smuggle heroin to the UK was being made through courier service.

The ANF staff conducted a raid and recovered 3.45kg of heroin concealed in waist coats and a bridal dress.

The spokesman said the consignment was booked by Zakir Khan for a woman in the UK.

A case was registered against the suspect under relevant sections of the law and investigation launched.
