TOBA TEK SINGH: Four people of a family received serious burn injuries when their room caught fire early on Friday at Usmania Colony, Faisalabad.

Rescue 1122 reported that fire was caused by a short circuit and at first, a bed caught fire and then it spread to other areas.

The injured were rescued by the locals and Rescue 1122 ambulances shifted them to the Allied Hospital, Faisalabad. They included Riaz Arif, his wife Shamim and daughters Manahil and Mahim.

Also, the record of Fesco office located Tata cloth market in Faisalabad was burnt when a fire broke out due to a short circuit in the record room. Rescue 1122 controlled the fire.

In another incident, an 85-year-old woman was seriously burnt in Faisalabad’s Shakeel Park.

Rescue 1122 said Amna Bibi’s clothes caught fire from the gas oven. She was rushed to the Allied Hospital.

BAZAAR: Under the prime minister’s Ehsas Programme, an Ehsas Bazaar has been made functional at the Faisalabad tehsil city by the district administration.

An official told reporters on Friday that philanthropists had supported the distribution of garments and other items and separate stalls had been set up for the supply of goods for men, women and children.
