Student commits suicide

LAHORE: A first-year student reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his home in Sabzazar area here on Tuesday.

The police investigations said Mohammad Ahmad committed suicide after his parents refused to provide him a new cell phone.

Police have handed over the body to the family after legal formalities.
