MIRPURKHAS, Nov 17: DIG Saleemullah Khan has ordered an inquiry into reports of producing a 14-year-old boy with handcuffs in a local court. A constable has been suspended by the SP investigation in this connection.

Shahbaz, son of Sher Afzal, was caught by residents of Gulshan colony when he was reportedly stealing something.

He was handed over to the Satellite town police.

A resident lodged a case on November 8 with the Satellite town police station against him.

The boy confessed to have committed the theft at the behest of his father.

The investigation police recovered the stolen tape recorder from him and produced him twice before the first judicial magistrate with handcuffs and got four days police remand.
