Two friends shoot each other

LAHORE, Nov 14: Two friends shot dead each other at Jallo Morr in Batapur on Monday. Police said Faryad Husain, 25, and Sanaullah, 28, were playing billiard at a club when they indulged in an argument over a minor issue. They both whipped out pistols and fired shots at each other. Both of them sustained bullet injuries and were taken to the Ghurki Hospital where they died.

Their bodies have been sent to the city mortuary for autopsy.

However, the police said their families would not like to initiate a legal course against each other.

ACCIDENT: An unidentified man, about 50, was hit and killed by a bus in Green Town.

His body has been sent to the mortuary.

FIRE: Machines worth millions of rupees were gutted in a spinning mills on Raiwind Road in Manga Mandi on Monday.

The police said a short-circuit caused the fire. Fire tenders took over three hours to put out the fire.
