ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) on Monday said it posted growth of 7.3 per cent in revenues during the nine months of 2021.

The announcement was made by the company following a meeting of its Board of Directors. The three quarter results showed total revenue of Rs102.4 billion for the PTCL Group, up 7pc compared to same period of 2020. U Bank achieved 23pc growth in revenue while Ufone posted revenue growth of 4.6pc during this same period.

In the nine months, PTCL Group posted a net profit of Rs3.7bn as compared to Rs1.6bn for the same period of last year.

The revenue of PTCL was at Rs57.3bn, showing 7.3pc increase compared to the year 2020, with net profit at Rs5.7bn which is 39.2pc higher than the last year.
