MANSEHRA: A man was killed and his brother and a cousin were injured in a gun attack in Salam Pura area of Khaki here on Friday night.

District police officer Sajjad Khan said an accused opened fire when the deceased asked him not to tease his wife. He said a brother and a cousin of the deceased man were also injured in the firing.

A complainant lodged an FIR with the police, stating that the alleged killer knocked at their door, and when his brother came out, he opened fire, killing him on the spot.

The complainant said when he and his cousin rushed outside the accused also fired on them, leaving them seriously injured.

The accused was caught by locals and handed over to the police.

DPO Sajjad Khan, who also rushed to the scene following the incident, said the accused had been arrested.
