Hockey tie for quake victims

LAHORE, Nov 10: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) with the help of International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Indian Hockey Confederation (IHC) will organise an international match to raise funds for the Oct 8 earthquake victims in Pakistan.

The match will be played in Chennai, India on Dec 8 on the occasion of Champions Trophy to be held in the same city from Dec 10, a spokesman of the PHF announced on Thursday.

Pakistan and Indian players will form one team to compete with the joint team comprising players of Spain, Holland, Germany and Australia, the spokesman said.
