NAROWAL: The three-day rituals in connection with the 482nd death anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion, ended at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur, on Wednesday.

More than 4,000 Sikhs from all over the world, including Pakistan, participated in the three-day Joti Jot celebrations. The pilgrims laid flowers at the tomb of Baba Guru Nanak and paid homage to him.

Talking to media, Sardar Sujit Singh and Sardar Rajpal Singh said the Sikh nation around the world was sending a message of complete religious freedom and security in Pakistan.

Gifts were presented to the guests on behalf of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and the Darbar Sahib Kartarpur administration.

President Parbandhak Committee Sardar Amit Singh, member Sardar Inderjit Singh, minorities MPA Rameesh Singh Arora, government officials and others were also present on the occasion. Strict security arrangements were put in place during the three-day events.
