The programme was broadcast live on the facebook page of Alhamra Centre of Art and Culture.

Taranum Naz said she was pleased that Alhamra had started the excellent series and established a new tradition. She noted that the new generation was forgetting the traditions and the art council’s initiative was a welcome development.

“Our young generation will also have the opportunity to learn a lot from this programme,” she hoped.

According to the art council, the purpose of the music series is to pay tribute to art and the legendry artists. The council has been promoting artistes continuously to showcase their incredible talent to the world.
