KARACHI, Nov 8: The acting Chief Controller of Buildings, Rauf Akhtar Farooqi, has called upon the KBCA officials to follow the rightful procedures for the approval of building plans and only such plans be approved which fully commensurate with the building laws.

He stated this while addressing a meeting which was attended by senior controllers, town building officers and deputy controllers of buildings. He said no lapse or negligence in this regard would be tolerated. He underlined the need for computerized issuance of plans, further improvement in the working of demolition section.—APP
