LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has recorded over 300 per cent increase in the number of complaints during the last four years.

According to NAB Lahore Director General Shahzad Saleem, the bureau received 43,120 complaints about corruption and corrupt practices, misuse of authority and cheating public at large during the last four years and of which 42,249 had been disposed of.

“There has been an annual increase of 304 per cent in complaints received by the Lahore bureau during the last four years. Currently, the regional bureau is probing 1,690 complaints.”
